We are currently looking for a passionate, committed and ambitious person to join our team in a supervisory role. Experience is necessary and holding a personal licence is preferred.
The successful candidate will be employed on a full time basis, rate of pay negotiable dependent on experience. At Number Four we will also offer the opportunity for the successful candidate to undertake various qualifications within hospitality after a period of time.
The hours include daytimes, evenings and weekends. We ask anyone who wishes to apply to be fully flexible.
Good communication, organisation and leadership skills are essential to the role as is the ability to work within a team. At Number Four we are a small family like team who strive to support each other at all times.
The job will include lone working and working with others. The successful candidate will assist in the day to day running of the bar, organising and promoting events & covering for management when required. Other tasks will include banking, stock ordering, creating rotas and aiding the management in getting the best out of the team & providing the best experience for our customers.

Ryedale Folk Museum - Hutton le Hole - Museum Helper
Puss, the resident cat at Ryedale Folk Museum seeks a hard-working, fun-loving and kibble-feeding co-worker to join the team at the Museum as soon as possible. She needs a reliable partner to assist with unlocking the site each morning, before providing herself and the other animals (pigs, sheep and chickens) with breakfast.
Puss then generally retreats to her bed in the workshop, whilst her co-worker cares for the Museum’s buildings and its six-acre site, through planning and undertaking an annual programme of maintenance jobs, often leading a team of helpful volunteers.
